Comfort in a glass or mug—a cozy cold-weather sipper that keeps the chill at bay.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 cups water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2-3 tbsp Chai Tea (2 Tea Bags)
  • ¼ cup Bourbon
  • 2 tbsp Forest Honey
  • 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice or 2 lemon wedges

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Combine water and cinnamon stick. Bring to a simmer, then remove from heat and add tea. Cover and steep for 15 minutes. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve; discard the tea.
  2. Return the spiced tea to the pan and reheat until warm. Stir in Bourbon, honey and lemon juice. Divide between 2 warmed mugs and serve immediately. (Alternatively, serve each mug with a lemon wedge for squeezing in juice to taste.)
