Apple Pie Old Fashioned

This is the perfect cocktail to ring in the fall season! Cozy up and celebrate apple season with this creative recipe that puts a festive spin on an old (fashioned) favorite.
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 teaspoon maple syrup
- 1/2 ounce Apple Pie Liqueur
- 1 3/4 ounces Northern Plains Bourbon Whiskey
- 1 large ice cube 1 dried apple slice, for garnish
- 1 cinnamon stick, for garnish
DIRECTIONS:
- Add maple syrup, Apple Pie Liqueur and Northern Plains Bourbon Whiskey into a short glass.
- Place a large ice rock or whiskey ball into the glass and stir until cold, about 10 seconds.
- Garnish with dried apple slice.
- Light the end of the cinnamon stick and gently place smoking cinnamon stick on top of the apple garnish.
