Cheesy Garlic Herb Pull Apart Bread

Golden sourdough, melted mozzarella, and savory garlic-herb flavor make this pull-apart bread irresistible.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 round sourdough boule (approximately 1 lb.)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 tbsp vomFASS Garlic Herb Oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • Pinch of freshly ground black pepper

DIRECTIONS:

  1. PREPARE THE BREAD: Preheat the oven to 375°F. Place the sourdough boule on a cutting board. Using a serrated knife, cut a crosshatch pattern into the bread, making cuts approximately 1 inch apart. Cut nearly to the bottom without slicing all the way through the loaf.
  2. MAKE THE GARLIC-HERB MIXTURE: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, vomFASS Garlic Herb Oil, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. ADD THE CHEESE & FLAVOR: Gently open the cuts in the bread and drizzle the garlic-herb mixture throughout, allowing it to soak into the crevices. Stuff the cuts with mozzarella and sprinkle Parmesan over the top.
  4. WRAP AND BAKE: Wrap the bread loosely in aluminum foil and place it on a baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes.
  5. FINISH BAKING: Unwrap the bread and bake for another 10–15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the edges are golden and crisp.
  6. GARNISH AND SERVE: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm. Let everyone pull apart their own cheesy, garlicky piece and enjoy!
