Honey Bourbon Ham

Slow-roasted and finished with a rich bourbon, golden honey, and balsamic glaze, this showstopping ham delivers a perfectly caramelized, flavor-packed centerpiece for your table.

INGREDIENTS:

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern. Place in a roasting pan with a little water at the bottom. Cover loosely with foil.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine: honey, bourbon, Dijon & Whole Grain Mustard, brown sugar, Aceto Balsamico Maletti, and olive oil. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened and glossy.
  3. Bake ham for about 1.5–2 hours (depending on size). Every 20–30 minutes, brush generously with glaze.
  4. Remove foil for the last 20–30 minutes. Baste again and let the outside caramelize. Optional: broil for 2–3 minutes for a deeper glaze (watch it closely).
  5. Let rest 10-15 minutes before slicing. Spoon extra glaze over the top before serving.
