Watermelon Calamansi Frozen Margarita

This frozen margarita blends fresh watermelon with lime and Calamansi Balsam for a vibrant, icy cocktail that’s both tart and refreshing with a clean citrus lift.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 cups fresh watermelon, cubed (plus extra for blending if needed)
  • 2 oz Tequila
  • 1 oz Blood Orange Liqueur
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 3/4 oz Calamansi Balsam
  • ½ – 1 cup ice (adjust for thickness)
  • ½ oz agave syrup (optional)
  • Tajin or Pink Crystal Salt for rim
  • lime wheel and 3 cherries for garnish

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Add watermelon, tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, calamansi balsam, agave (if using), and ice to a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and slushy. Adjust ice or watermelon to reach desired thickness.
  3. Rim glasses with Tajín or salt.
  4. Pour frozen margarita into prepared glasses.
  5. Garnish with watermelon wedge and lime wheel. Serve immediately.
