Espadeiro is a Vinho Verde indigenous grape, that originated in Basto, & means ‘swordsman’ in Portuguese, due to the fact the bunches grow in long, thin columns like a sword! It's a well balanced, fresh wine with a pleasant and lingering after taste. Recommended as an aperitif or to accompany fish dishes, seafood, & meat.
