Lone Hawthorn Reserve Sherry Cask 17 yr

An absolute rarity is this 17-year-old single malt is a must-have for whiskey lovers! This single malt was selected exclusively for vomFASS and we are proud to be able to present you this expression.  This special whisky spent its entire maturing period in former sherry casks. In  the nose and on the palate, it is rich with vanilla, sherry, dark fruit, nutmeg 
notes with the typical sweetness from the sherry casks.   In the nose, hints of ripe stone fruit, cereals and vanilla. The taste impresses with a velvety note of vanilla and a balanced aftertaste, which is characterized by mild oak aromas.
